Summer is right around the corner, believe it or not, and that means it’s time to get ready for Living Light’s Chef Showcase. If you came last year, you know it was a raw culinary extravaganza – like the Food Network, but all live and all raw. It’s very exciting and tons of fun. If you can’t come and experience it here, it’ll be available on-line or as a DVD set, but if you’re thinking about making a trip to Living Light, try and come then and be a part of the audience. There’s nothing like watching these raw culinary masters work their magic right in front of you – plus you get samples. Super yum! And there’ll be another Hot Raw Chef Video Recipe Contest. Super fun!

Speaking of summer – I can’t wait till my kids are out of school. They’re old enough not to need child care, so the good news for me is I don’t have to get them up and pack them lunches. Don’t get me wrong – I love taking care of my kids –  but I always wonder how much of those forty plus lunches a month I’m making are actually being eaten by the people for whom they were intended. I’m pretty sure my son eats his lunch and am equally sure my daughter doesn’t. She probably would if I were a hot raw chef. Maybe I can pick up some tips at the showcase this year!
