Winner and Still Champion

We won! Yes, it's true...for the second year in a row Living Light's organic, vegan Creamy Corn and Sweet Potato Chowder (recipe created by Cherie Soria and made by our rawkin cafe staff) took first place among eight other professional entries at the Soup and Chili Cook-off to benefit the Fort Bragg Food Bank. Once again we beat Little River Inn and their Shrimp Bisque (last year we placed first over their Lobster Bisque). Just goes to show you that plant-based cuisine can be as good or better than its non-vegan counterparts! Also notable:a Raw Chilled Blackberry Mint Soup was another of the winners. 2nd Annual Soup and Chili Cook Off
